TOPS Bloggers Bash Treats!

Last July 29, 2011 was the Tops Bloggers Bash Event held at V58 Resto Bar.Bloggers received a lot of freebies from Tops!Luckily,I won the Bloggers Bash contest and the prize is 3,500 GC from Tops!I also got another 500 worth of GC from our game!So here's what I got from the awesome GC's from Tops!I really had fun shopping!:)

I also bought 3 items for my sibs!A pair of Zara shorts, A wallet and a boys shorts. I had fun spending the 4,000 worth of GCs plus the friendly employees of Tops Commonwealth and Tops Congressional.

Confessions of a Shopaholic!

Seriously,I feel like Rebecca Bloomwood of Confessions of a Shopaholic nowadays. I've been spending a lot of moolah, I blame the mid year sale for this.HAHA.kidd!Bought these pretty items at the mall and online.I can't help it. The feeling when you saw something really nice and as if you can't sleep without buying it,well yes I'm sooo guilty!I thought,the moment I get home, I could able to escape from shopping but shoot! I forgot the fact that you can still shop at home,online :/ boo.Oh well, I promise to save after July:))

I was sooo lucky in finding this at the shoe rack,I've been looking for the perfect lace up clogs then tadaah!I can't take my hands of it the whole time and I keep on bugging my mom about buying it,well thank god she said yes!:)

Bought this during my birthday, Reesh of Impulse Co. gave me a 10% discount so since I've been eyeing this one since they posted it, I took the chance to buy it.It's really pretty in person,excuse the low res photo :))

A newly found online shop that sells pretty feathered and fringe accessories!You guys better check them out!They have lots of designs and colors :)

I wish clothes,shoes,accessories etc wouldn't look so pretty for a week so I can stop from spending.HAHA:)) So,what do you guys got this Mid year sale season?I bet you have tons of shopping bags stocked at your rooms already!:))

Antwerp Unpacked

Yesterday I visited Antwerp with my mom. Every once in a while I enjoy visiting Antwerp for some shopping, just because they have so many variety in shops/brands, most not located in Amsterdam,  such as the concept store of Dries van Noten. Which I obviously had to visit, since I have been craving for their oversized suits (see here).  While I was there my eyes fell on this black semi-transparant blouse, perfect for formal events that need a fashionable twist.   

Unfortunately I didn't have enough time left to visit Urban Outfitters (my all-time favorite casual fashion shop) - a good excuse for another visit :)

Yeahhh! Finally! Topshop opened its doors in The Netherlands, in the very contemporary store, SPRMRKT! We, as fashion-addicted ladies have been waiting for this moment for so long, that last night during the opening I went mad when after 1 hour they still didn't officially open. Luckily, eventually they did and I could get my claws on all items. Not knowing no item could be bought, very disappointing and embarrassing, since I was already walking around with 3 pieces in my hands... But today at 10 A.M. Topshop became part of the shopping culture of Amsterdam.

One Dries, Please.

Ok. So I have a wishlist of about thousands of pieces, who doesn't? But there is always one item shining down on all, this year - the perfect oversized black suit. In combination with a clean, modern white buttoned up shirt. The master of oversized blazer, Dries van Noten shows how it should be done. Next weekend I'm of to Antwerp, maybe I'll have a glance at it :)

Opening Sam Friday store

Sam Friday, a lingerie brand with a feel good attitude opened up their first concept store in Amsterdam on wednesday evening. First we watched a Sam Friday movie in a very old cinema in the centre of Amsterdam, after that we were welcomed in the store, located on the Leidsestraat in Amsterdam. To top the night of, the lovely Alain Clarke gave us a very intimate performance right in the middle of the cinema. I had a blast!

Bijenkorf Inspiration Awards 2011

Since last year de Bijenkorf gives young talented fashion designers a stage, called: 'Inspiration'. This year they created a special award for the upcoming designer that captured the theme of this year, typography, the best. 

I really love this initiative. With all the upcoming talented designer most never see the light of fame - with this award some will finally get the chance they deserve.

My favorite T-brand, Zoe Karssen, launches their new collection. Again it's full of easy to wear tees and sweat, with the rock 'n pop prints. I already got my hands on one, the bat tee. Which soon be posted in an outfit post! 

First experience with online shopping

This week my Urban Outfitters order arrived, my first ever online shop experience. I was very curious whether all items would be what I had expected (sizes/colors/quality) - against all odds I fell in love with all items! Here's an outfit created around 1 of the UO items - the cross earrings.
