Last night's event was the launch party of the newest magazine in the country, Esquire Magazine which released its premier issue this month. Congressman and boxing champ Manny Pacquiao is on its cover.

Susan Younghusband, mother of Phil and James, passes away: report

Susan Placer-Younghusband, the Filipina mother of James and Phil Younghusband of the Philippine Azkals, passed away Saturday night, GMA News reported.

Susan died of "massive heart-attack" at 10:30 p.m., Cathy Rivilla, manager of Phil and James, told GMA News.

The family of Susan is holding her wake at Funeraria Paz in Sucat, Paranaque.

Susan Younghusband was 49 years old. She is survived by her two celebrity footballer sons and daughter Keri who is now around the age of 9. Her husband, Philip, died of cancer 8 years ago.

She was a native of Malabon City.

In one of his interviews, Phil Younghusband had said his mother, who admitted that she knew nothing about football, was very supportive of him and his brother James in their career.

"My mom's very supportive. If she can't watch me live, she watches me on telly since my games in Chelsea are televised," Phil told the Philippine Daily Inquirer in 2007. "Even if I knew I had a bad game, she's always like, 'well played, well played,' to give me confidence."

The billboard can be found in EDSA as well as at the Meralco Avenue near Metrowalk.

Meanwhile, Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin was spotted in the historic game of Phil Younghusband's football team, the Azkals, versus Sri Lanka on July 3rd. She was seen cheering and screaming for the Azkals which apparently inspired her rumored footballer boyfriend since he was able to score 2 points for the team! Yay! Phil Younghusband introduces Angel Locsin to his mom

Phil Younghusband has introduced Angel Locsin, his rumored sweetheart, to his mother.

Phil revealed the encounter in an interview with ABS-CBN News where he said "My mom loves Angel. She really really likes her."

Prior to this, recent updates on Phil and Angel's flourishing romance incude the following

***Phil sent Angel gifts a tumbler, a pillow, and a teddy bear on "The Buzz", last Sunday.

***On Boy Abunda's "The Bottomline" last Friday, the footballer said he likes being with the actress and wants to know her more. He also invited Angel to watch his upcoming football match in Manila.

***The two also went to a movie date last week where they watched Angel's newest film "In the Name of Love".

***Late last month, Angel and Phil spent a day in Hong Kong to celebrate Angel's birthday. Phil reportedly gifted a designer bag to the Kapamilya babe.

Whew! It seems like their relationship is getting deeper and deeper each day! They sure are a good-looking pair! :D

Angel Locsin admits spending her birthday with Phil Younghusband in Hong Kong

Angel Locsin, the lead star of the fantaserye "Imortal" which aired its finale episode yesterday, has admitted that she spent her birthday in Hong Kong with Philippine Azkal's Phil Younghusband.

Angel Locsin revealed that the footballer, who reportedly wooing her, unexpectedly turned up during her 3-day trip in Hong Kong for her 26th birthday celebration - she was born on April 23, 1985.

Since Phil followed a day before Angel's arrival in Manila, the Kapamilya star and the popular footballer said to have spent only a day together with Angel's friend Bubble Praiso in Hong Kong. Phil reportedly gave the birthday girl a Givenchy bag! Whew!

Phil Younghusband took his clothes off and hit to the beach with a sexy swimwear. Via his blackberry phone, Phil tweeted a pic of him nak3d on the beach - not totally nak3d though! :D
