Aside from the alleged photos of Jason Ivler drinking with a group of guys and girls which he denied saying it was taken before he was sent to jail, according to a TV Patrol report, a video which was purportedly taken inside Jason's cell also shows that the murder suspect is getting VIP treatment while in prison.

Uploaded on Facebook, the video shows Jason Ivler telling his "fans" to beat his prosecutors and his judge. In the later part of the clip, he said it was his birthday and he wanted a "birthday s3x" with a hot stranger and he will be giving her a free t'shirt. Lol.

In an interview, his mom, Marlene Aguilar said, "Kung anuman ang binebentang treatment do'n, kahit s3x pa iyon, kung gusto ng anak ko, I'll pay for it!".

TV Patrol reported earlier about Jason Ivler getting VIP treatment while in prison. According to the report, there are photos and video of Jason Ivler posted online that show him with some girls, drinking and partying inside the jail. So I thought of searching them for you and compile them here. Below are some of the photos I found. I also found the video but it cannot be posted here since it contains inappropriate language that blogspot does not allow.

Panic in an LRT train injures 2

Passengers of a southbound train of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) panicked when smoke was seen coming out from the train at past 9 a.m. on Monday.

According to reports, a man punched through a window in an attempt to get out after seeing the smoke. This made the window's glass shatter, hitting other passengers.

Two passengers were injured after being hit by shards of broken glass. Both passengers are now being treated for minor injuries.

In an ABS-CBN interview, Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) public relations head Lyn Paragas said the train experienced “technical failure.”

“Approaching UN Avenue, nagkaroon ng problema yung brake disc pad. Hindi pa naka-full stop yung tren, umusok. Nag-panic yung isang pasahero at binasag niya yung window. May mga pasahero na tinamaan ng bubog,” said Paragas.

LRTA authorities are already investigating the incident.

Azkals need to win against Bangladesh to advance

After their last two games ended up in draws, the Philippine Football Team aka the Philippine Azkals cannot settle for anything else but to win their last group qualifying match against the Bangladesh team at the Aung San Stadium in Rangoon, Myanmar this Friday, March 25.

Azkals' two points (one point for each of the two previous games) currently make them third in Group A with two points behind Bangladesh (three points) and Palestine (four points). However only the top 2 teams will advance to the main draw of the Asian Football Confederation Challenge Cup next year, making the Bangladesh fight a very crucial one for the Azkals.

To be held at 5 p.m. (Manila time), the Philippines-Bangladesh match will be held simultaneously with Myanmar-Palestine tiff in another venue to avoid manipulation of results.

Again, the Azkals cannot afford losing or settling for a draw since it would me the end of their campaign.

A victory will give them an additional 3 points allowing them to take a spot to the next round regardless of the outcome of the other match.

Earth Hour to be celebrated in the Philippines on March 26 (Video)

The Philippines will be once again one with the rest of the world in celebrating the "Earth Hour" on March 26, 2011. As observed for the last three years, lights will be off for an hour starting at 8:30PM this Saturday.

Started as a single-city (Sydney, Australia) initiative in 2007, the global event organized by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is being held annually to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change.

Jayvee Fernandez, a WWF donor, said this year's Earth Hour’s theme is all about “Going Beyond the Hour.”

"Although a huge success every year (the Philippines has the highest participation worldwide) it isn’t enough to switch our power off for one hour. Making a difference requires building habits. This year and so forth, we’re going to be doing things beyond the hour. But we need your help as well to create and spread these ideas.

For those who’ve always wanted a chance to dialogue with WWF Philippines (they are proudly the most active branch of WWF in the world because of their sustainable development projects and coral triangle efforts), this is your chance. Bianca Paz' sexy photos disqualify her from Binibining Pilipinas 2011

It is the end of the line for another Binibining Pilipinas 2011 hopeful as the organizers disqualified her over sexy calendar photos she did 2 years ago.

Ma. Paula Bianca Paz, said to be a former girlfriend of actor Polo Ravales and currently linked to model Andrew Wolfe, has been removed from the list of official candidates of the most prestigious beauty pageant in the country.

Earlier this week, the Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BPCI) did not specify which violation Paz committed saying she was disqualified “due to circumstances affecting her which recently came to light.”

To "clear things up" and before other speculations spur, Bianca Paz recently gave her statement via Facebook.

I would like to clear things up regarding the issue for the FIRST and LAST time.

To make a long story short, I took part in a calendar shoot 2 years ago which never came to mind as a possible hindrance for my participation in the Binibining Pilipinas pageant as I made sure that the finished result would not be less than tasteful and even of editorial standard before being published.

Unfortunately, BPCI did not have the same opinion of the said shoot and so as of today I have been officially DISQUALIFIED.

I would also like to make clear that there are NO, I repeat, NO nude photos or “sex videos” anywhere existing.

I respect and accept BPCI’s decision and refuse to make the issue any bigger than it already is. I only ask that everyone does the same and refrain themselves from making false judgements and ignorant accusations towards me and anyone else involved. At this point, its all very unnecessary.

Instead, I encourage everyone to show support to all remaining candidates and… well… Enjoy the show! This is, after all, “entertainment.”

Banco Filipino suffering from an extraordinary financial panic - Yasay

Several branches of Banco Filipino were not open on Tuesday sending many depositors into panic. It fueled speculations that the bank with the popular slogan, Subok na Matibay, Subok na Matatag, went on a 'bank holiday'(according to investorwords.com, it means temporary closing of a bank in the event that its obligations exceed its resources).

Banco Filipino vice chair Perfecto Yasay denied rumors that their bank had taken a unilateral bank holiday.

He said they are suffering "an extraordinary financial panic caused by a well-orchestrated smear campaign" quoting Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas as "source of inaccurate and malicious imputations".

"We are still open but unfortunately our personnel fear for themselves, especially those in the branches, because we haven't received any help from the BSP. It could be violent, as we're talking about the right of depositor," he added.

On a notice posted at their branches, Banco Filipino Executive Vice President Maxy Abad said "the bank is exhausting all efforts to protect its depositors by asking the BSP to stave off the heavy withdrawals by denying the derogatory news articles attributed to them and by providing emergency loan assistance after submitting sufficient collateral,"

"Despite the urgency of all these requests, we have not recieved any official word from the BSP/MB [Monetary Board] on the action they have taken, if any. Furthermore, we have also reiterated the immediate implementation of the approved business plan as ordered by the Makati-RTC. Moreover, the court order prohibits the BSP/MB, its officials, agents and any persons acting for and in their behalf from committing any act prejudicial to the operation of the bank," the statement read.

"Kindly inform and clarify this matter to our depositors and assure them that as soon as we receive official notice of any favorable action taken by the BSP/MB we shall advise them accordingly," the statement ended.

Jose Rizal's descendants said to have created the Facebook page to make their "lolo" more accessible to the youth of today.

5.1-magnitude earthquake rocks the Philippines

A day after a 5.2-magnitude earthquake hit Ilocos Norte, another quake jolted the Philippines early Friday, March 11, 2011.

The 5.1-magnitude intermediate quake was felt at 3:06 a.m., with 15 kilometers east of Looc town, Occidental Mindoro as epicenter. It has a depth of 101 kilometers, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.

Jang Ja Yeon suicide case may undergo reinvestigation after 2 years

Jang Ja Yeon is a Korean actress who hanged herself at her house 2 years ago (March 7, 2009) after suffering from depression. Then a rising star in South Korea after her role in the phenomenal "Boys Over Flowers" TV series, the actress left a 7-page suicide note that accused her management agency of forcing her to attend drinking parties and provide sexual favors to journalists, prominent businessmen and entertainment agency officials.

After a police investigation in 2009, 2 people from Jang's agency were charged and convicted of minor offenses and given light sentences. These drew some doubts and intense criticisms.

Recently, 50 new handwritten diary-like letters sent to a friend over the course of many months which were allegedly written Jang Ja Yeon have surfaced. They contain names of 31 people whom the actress was forced to have sex with - some of the 31 names were already investigated by police in 2009 but were all acquitted.

Now, the case grew into a sensational scandal over who was on "Jang's list". The police are said to reopen an investigation of Jang's case after the authenticity of the letters will be determined.

DZMM to hold "Takbo Para sa Karunungan" on March 13

On March 13, 2011, ABS-CBN owned radio station DZMM will be holding a funrun called "Takbo Para sa Karunungan" to celebrate its silver anniversary. The event which will take place in Quirino Grandstand in Manila, aims to gather funds for the scholarships of 25 Ondoy victims.
