No matter how many times we cycle around this style, wearing a slip as an alternate to a dress or a top never gets old to me. There's just something sensuous yet alluring about taking a piece that typically belongs in the bedroom to the outdoors. It's only a matter of styling the piece to match with the rest of your outfit in order to keep the ensemble tasteful, avoiding the unsubstantial trashy look. For myself, I prefer pairing feminine pieces with edgy extras, hence the faux leather vest and structured boots.
