Everybody knows that The Netherlands isn't popular because of it's sunny beaches, or let alone, the sun. As doubtful as the weather is today, clouds/sun.. clouds/sun... as is my outfit. Somewhere in between. Monday I'm off to South of France for some bare-legged holidays, 7 days nothing but sun and sand. And maybe a little dance ;)

Versace for H&M

H&M strikes again, Donatella Versace collaborates with H&M - how exciting! She promises leather and gold, two materials I can't live without... I have never been disappointed by any of these collaborations of H&M, so bring it on!

Stella McCartney

It's that time of the year again, new-collection-popping-up-season! With my new hunt for the ultimate suit, I couldn't resist posting these new looks of the Stella McCartney Pre-Spring 2012 collection. I am a big fan of ankle-high pants and oversized blazers, I guess that explains my excitement around the pieces ;)

Antwerp Unpacked

Yesterday I visited Antwerp with my mom. Every once in a while I enjoy visiting Antwerp for some shopping, just because they have so many variety in shops/brands, most not located in Amsterdam, such as the concept store of Dries van Noten. Which I obviously had to visit, since I have been craving for their oversized suits (see here). While I was there my eyes fell on this black semi-transparant blouse, perfect for formal events that need a fashionable twist.

Unfortunately I didn't have enough time left to visit Urban Outfitters (my all-time favorite casual fashion shop) - a good excuse for another visit :)

Some people believe I'm such a big fan of the fashion brand Chloe that I donated the name to myself. Well, Uhmm.. No. My official second name is Chloe and how ironic, I am a huge fan of the brand Chloe...Most people call me Liza, but I have always dreamed of the day that everybody would just call me Chloe, just because I think this suits me more. So please?

As promised, my outfit during my visit at the opening of Canal House. I highly believe all comfortable outfits can be highly stylish. I combined my baggy jeans with a sophisticated top and some wedges, giving it a effortless but fashionable look.

Yeahhh! Finally! Topshop opened its doors in The Netherlands, in the very contemporary store, SPRMRKT! We, as fashion-addicted ladies have been waiting for this moment for so long, that last night during the opening I went mad when after 1 hour they still didn't officially open. Luckily, eventually they did and I could get my claws on all items. Not knowing no item could be bought, very disappointing and embarrassing, since I was already walking around with 3 pieces in my hands... But today at 10 A.M. Topshop became part of the shopping culture of Amsterdam.

One Dries, Please.

Ok. So I have a wishlist of about thousands of pieces, who doesn't? But there is always one item shining down on all, this year - the perfect oversized black suit. In combination with a clean, modern white buttoned up shirt. The master of oversized blazer, Dries van Noten shows how it should be done. Next weekend I'm of to Antwerp, maybe I'll have a glance at it :)
