Graced by international, national and local designers, STYLEAID 2011 absolutely lived up to its attestation in being one of the most stylish events on Perth's social calendar. It was my first ever STYLEAID experience (thank you Stephanie!) and as much as I would like to pick out favourites, I must honestly profess that each and every designer rocked the runway (and my heart!) in the Burswood Entertainment Complex's grand ballroom that night. Yes, I'm talking about Vivienne Westwood, Haider Ackermann, Aurelio Costarella, Garth Cook, Jamie Lee Major, Rick Owens, Zsadar, Ae’lkemi, Daniella Caputi, Dilletante, Fenella Peacock, Empire Rose, United Constructions, Tindale, Zekka, Dhufish, Flannel, One Fell Swoop and Morrison. And as if the parade of mind blowing designs didn't leave me in utter amazement enough, I was completely speechless to find that as predicted to be the biggest fashion fundraiser of the year, STYLEAID successfully raised over $200,000 that night for WA AIDS Council in the aim to ensure continuous support for those affected by HIV/AIDS -- the best outcome of opulence imaginable!
