Last weekend in Perth: Drove half an hour away from the city with no plans in mind and ended up with an exciting exploration of the fruit farms off Brookton Highway and a tranquil adventure through the Araluen botanical gardens. It felt really soothing to get so close to nature -- taking in infinite amount of fresh air, dipping my feet into the cool water rushing down the creek, listening to the birds chirping endlessly, the ducks quacking happily and the waterfall cascading noisily as if they're all simultaneously trying to create beautiful melodies together, and simply enjoying the serenity in the valley.
