Upward and Across

(Thrifted shirt, H&M tank, Zara jeans, Guess purse, Sam Edelman fringed boots, vintage necklace and ring)

Although I fancy the boyfriend shirt's crisp clean-cut construction, I admit that I'm not a big fan of it's straight and loose silhouette. So I decided to put my own twist while styling it. I had the shirt "cropped" and tightened by changing the buttoning sequence. Instead of the usual button-down fastening, I pulled the last button of one side of the shirt upwards and connected it with the second buttonhole across. The same was done for the other side, except this time the last buttonhole was pulled upwards to be wrapped around the second button across. A simple and quick way to feminize a loose button-down shirt.
